1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the provision of wine tasting and related corporate event services (“Services”) by Immersip Pty Ltd (“Immersip”, “we”, “our”, “us”) to you (“the Client”, “you”). By booking an event or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
2. Services Provided
Immersip provides professional corporate wine tasting experiences, including sommelier-led immersive events, curated wine selections and optional catering and glassware hire.
All event details, inclusions and pricing are outlined in your proposal or quote.
We reserve the right to modify our offerings at any time to improve service quality, availability, or compliance with Australian regulations.
3. Booking and Payment
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking and secure your event date.
The balance is due no later than ten (10) business days before the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Bookings are not considered confirmed until payment of the deposit has been received.
Payment methods accepted: bank transfer or other approved electronic payment systems.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations made up to five (5) business days before the event will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
Cancellations made within five (5) business days of the event will result in the forfeiture of the full event cost.
If an event must be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, illness, or venue closure), Immersip will work with you to reschedule or apply your payment as a credit toward a future booking, subject to availability.
5. Minimum Charges and Group Sizes
Minimum charges apply as outlined in our pricing and packages.
Seated and standing events require a minimum charge equivalent to 20 guests.
Clients may host smaller groups, provided minimum costings are met.
6. Wine and Responsible Service of Alcohol
Immersip and its representatives comply with all Australian state and territory laws governing the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest deemed intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all attendees are of legal drinking age (18 years or over).
7. Venues and Access
The Client must ensure the event location is suitable for hosting a wine tasting and that Immersip staff have reasonable access for setup, service and pack-down.
If the event is held at your premises, you agree to provide a safe working environment and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
8. Glassware, Equipment and Food
Glassware hire and additional event items (e.g., ice buckets, cheese boards) can be arranged for an additional fee, as detailed in your proposal.
All hired items remain the property of Immersip and must be returned in good condition.
Immersip accepts no liability for food or catering provided by external suppliers unless arranged directly by us.
9. Liability and Insurance
Immersip maintains appropriate public liability insurance for all events.
However, we are not liable for:
Any injury, loss, or damage caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions;
Venue-related incidents beyond our control; or
Losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Clients agree to indemnify Immersip against claims arising from the actions of guests or third parties engaged by the Client.
10. Force Majeure
Immersip is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or pandemics.
11. Intellectual Property
All materials, branding, and content created by Immersip (including written materials, photos, or tasting notes) remain our intellectual property and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written consent.
12. Privacy
Immersip respects your privacy. Personal information collected during booking and event management is used solely for the purpose of providing services and will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
